June 28, 2010
There is sometimes a difference between bottled water and tap water Another thing is that if there is a difference what would you rather drink. Is one any safer to drink than the other?
There are many answers that come out from many different people when these questions are asked. If people stopped buying bottled water then the bottled water companies would end up going out of business. Well the fact is that bottled water and tap water happens to be the same thing. This is true if the bottles sticker says anywhere on it that it has been bottled from any municipal, like bottled water usually. This means that you are drinking water that could have come from the tap at somebody’s home.
Some believe that the plastic bottles that the bottled water comes in can leach poisons into the water and this depends on the amount of time that the water sat in it. There may not be only poisons in the water but there could also be some trace amounts of bacteria as well. There has been studies done that prove the higher price that you pay for bottled water the better the water you get, which is like vegetable juices usually. This meaning that there may not be poisons and bacteria present in the higher priced water.
All tap water is regulated however there have been some big issues over the past years with tap water not being safe. Tests have given proof that tap water has mercury, aluminium, bacteria, and parasites as well. Also with all of the nasty metals found there have been trace amounts of the paper products that are flushed down the toilets. Maybe it is safer to get your water yourself without putting the trust on anybody else, you can filter your own tap water. This is similar to spring water to most people. This way you know where it has come from and what it goes through before you drink it.
