To protect yourself it is best to consult your physician if these conditions continue to be a problem for more than two weeks. Changes in your bowel movements like blood in the stool, the stool is red in color or unusually dark can be indications of bowel cancer and should be reported. Any time bleeding occurs that has to apparent cause it should be reported to the doctor right away. Bruises are seldom the result of cancer and neither are nose bleeds but it is always wise to consult with your doctor. You should always contact your physician if you have any cervical cancer symptoms.
Having moles does not necessarily mean you have cancer but they need to be reported. If you are losing weight and do not know why it is best to have a consultation with your health care professional to be sure it is not cancer related. At the end of the day, the best thing for your health is to report anything that looks unusual as quickly as possible. The greater chance you will have to correct any problems is to report a problem as soon as it becomes apparent.
